Terms of Service

When you use ThinkRows, you agree to these Terms. If you violate them, we may suspend or terminate your account. If we make significant changes, we will update the date above and provide notice where required.
Definitions
"Company", "we", "our", or "us" means ThinkRows. "Service" means the ThinkRows website, application, APIs, and related services. "You" or "your" means the person or organization using the Service.
"Customer Data" means spreadsheets, files, text, prompts, instructions, metadata, and other materials you upload or submit to the Service. "Outputs" means table detections, inferred columns, entity relationships, answerability results, transformation plans, transformed datasets, summaries, and other generated results.
Account Terms
- You are responsible for keeping your account and password secure.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account, including activity by your users or agents.
- You must provide accurate account, billing, and contact information.
- You must be legally allowed to use the Customer Data you upload to ThinkRows.
- You may not use the Service for unlawful, harmful, abusive, or unauthorized purposes.
Payment, Credits, and Plan Changes
- If you use a free plan, it is free until you choose to upgrade or buy credits.
- Paid plans, prepaid credits, and pay-as-you-go credits are billed as shown at checkout or in the app.
- Fees are exclusive of taxes unless we say otherwise. You are responsible for applicable taxes.
- Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated in a separate written agreement.
- If payment fails, we may freeze, limit, or cancel your account or access to paid features.
Cancellation and Termination
- You are responsible for properly canceling your account or subscription through the available account or billing controls.
- We may suspend or terminate your account for violating these Terms, creating risk for the Service, non-payment, or legal reasons.
- After cancellation or termination, your access to the Service may stop immediately.
- We may delete Customer Data and Outputs after cancellation, termination, account inactivity, or as part of ordinary retention schedules.
- We may refuse service to anyone where permitted by law.
Changes to the Service and Prices
- We may change, limit, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time.
- We may change pricing or plan limits. Where required, we will give notice before changes affect existing paid users.
- We may temporarily limit accounts whose usage threatens Service performance, security, cost controls, or other users.
Uptime, Security, and Privacy
- Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. We provide the Service on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
- We do not offer a service-level agreement unless one is separately agreed in writing.
- We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect Customer Data, but no internet service is perfectly secure.
- We may access account data when needed to provide support, investigate abuse, fix service problems, protect the Service, or comply with law.
- We use vendors, hosting providers, payment processors, AI providers, and other service providers to operate the Service.
- Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy when one is posted or provided separately.
AI Processing and OpenAI
ThinkRows uses third-party AI providers, including OpenAI, to analyze spreadsheets and generate Outputs. This means Customer Data and Outputs may be transmitted to OpenAI or other providers as needed to run the Service.
- You must not upload data unless you are allowed to have it processed by ThinkRows and our service providers.
- Unless we separately agree in writing, do not upload highly sensitive or regulated data, including protected health information, payment card numbers, government identifiers, children's data, biometric data, or data you are not authorized to process.
- Outputs are generated automatically and may be wrong, incomplete, outdated, or unsuitable for your use case.
- You are responsible for reviewing and validating Outputs before using them for business, financial, operational, legal, compliance, or other decisions.
- ThinkRows does not provide legal, financial, tax, accounting, compliance, medical, or other professional advice.
Customer Data and Content Ownership
- You keep ownership of Customer Data.
- You give us a limited license to use Customer Data only to provide, secure, maintain, support, and improve the Service, comply with law, and enforce these Terms.
- We claim no ownership over your spreadsheets or uploaded materials.
- We do not pre-screen Customer Data, but we may remove or refuse content that violates these Terms or creates risk for the Service.
- ThinkRows and its licensors own the Service, including software, design, workflows, documentation, and other technology.
- You may not copy, resell, exploit, reverse engineer, or reuse the Service except as permitted by these Terms.
Acceptable Use
You may not use the Service to:
- violate any law or third-party right;
- upload data you are not authorized to use;
- submit malicious files, code, or content;
- reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or disrupt the Service;
- bypass access restrictions, security controls, rate limits, billing limits, or usage limits;
- use the Service for fraud, unlawful surveillance, discrimination, or harmful activity;
- use Outputs without appropriate human review where mistakes could cause harm.
Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ThinkRows disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and error-free operation.
We do not guarantee that detected tables, inferred relationships, transformations, answerability assessments, or other Outputs will be accurate, complete, secure, lawful, or suitable for your intended use.
Liability
You expressly understand and agree that, to the maximum extent permitted by law, ThinkRows is not liable to you or to any third party for damages of any kind resulting from your use of the Service, inability to use the Service, inability to access data, unauthorized access to your account or data, third-party services, Customer Data, or Outputs.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ThinkRows will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, loss of goodwill, cost of substitute services, or errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in Outputs.
Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ThinkRows from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from Customer Data, your use of the Service, your Outputs, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights.
